deconstruction in quakerism in 5 easy steps

The Religious Society of Friends began as a heretical deconstruction of imperial english christianity.

Most nontheist Friends arrive at quakerism thru a similar process of deconstructing our family’s traditional religious beliefs.

We can become better friends by understanding the holes in the religious construct & the sources of damages done, to better repair & heal ourselves.

  1. Identifying with the premise of being damaged and needing to heal has nothing to do with my Quaker affiliation or my atheism. I’m an atheist by choice and a Quaker by affinity.
I would like to enter into conversation with Quakers with similar views. I have been curious about nontheistquskers.org but it seems negatively oriented.
Are there members of the group that can help me see it in a different light?
